Immersive Design is the first to provide automatic 3D PDF generation for SolidWorks users

announces the addition of 3D PDF publishing to SolidWorks software allowing design
engineers quick and easy generation of interactive 3D PDF files for assembly procedures,
service manuals and parts catalogs. Product documentation and 3D publishing for
discrete manufacturing companies have quickly become the hottest areas of interest
for cutting time to market and decreasing costs. For many manufacturing companies,
the task of generating product documentation falls on the design engineers who
have very few tools to combine their 3D design work with the documentation process.
The enhanced IPA Publish3D plug-in for SolidWorks takes advantage of the information
that already exists in the SolidWorks designs and repurposes the content for use
outside of the design department.
